Be Proactive: Teach Your Child to Heal From Emotional Pain

"Self-worth comes from being productive. Plug yourself into life, move forward and get involved in things. Let's be proactive," says Lisa J. Peck, co-author of STOP MARRYING MISTAKES.
The problem is that after divorce many people believe something is wrong with them. Their beliefs are tainted by the negative baggage they carry around with them.
3 Steps to Regain Your Self-Esteem and Confidence:
**Be Productive** Get involved in things. Do something proactive with your life. This can have a dramatic effect on self-worth.
**Get Involved with Others** Helping others will sweep you away from your own problems. Take the focus off of you and be concerned with others.
**Trust in Who You Are** Think of the positive things about yourself every day. If you can't think of any, ask a friend. You will be surprised at how many positive qualities other people see in you.
