Mozart Piano Concerto in D minor, Da In Yoon




Da In Yoon was a winner of the Robert Turner Piano Competition. In this video, she will play the Mozart Piano Concerto in D minor, 2nd movement, Romance. This is just a short bio of the performer, Da In Yoon!Da In Yoon, piano Da In Yoon was born into a musical family and began her music studies on the piano with her mother at the age of four. When she was six years old, she won the grand prize at her school's talent show for her performance of Kuhlau's Sonatina and was featured on the newspaper. Since then, Da In has played in many recitals and events such as the Bach Festival, MTAC-WLA Romantic Festival, and most recently, the Southwestern Youth Music Festival (SYMF) held at the California State University, Dominguez Hills. She has won various competitions, such as the Alabama Music Teacher's Association (AMTA) Annual Conference held in Auburn, Alabama. As a winner of the AMTA Pre-College Division 1 Piano category, she was invited to play at the final recital featuring the winners of all ages. Also having studied the violin for many years, Da In simultaneously won the AMTA Pre-College String category and consequently played in another recital, this time on violin.Da In is currently in the ninth grade at New Roads High School in Santa Monica where she is a student in the school's Aube Tzerko Piano Academy. This year, Da In will be take part in the Royal American Conservatory Examinations. Da In is currently studying with Mary Ann Cummins.Enjoy! Please comment! :)
